I got into a USC IMD project that a crew of masters and senior students are in from both the IMD program and CS for Games. Four other freshman students and I have been recruited to spend our off time to develop art assets, from environment art to character art. I pray to God I can do my part to the best I can to help develop this game. And Thank god I got in the first place.
It's a student project, so I doubt any of the art assets will be super locked down, so I might post my work occasionally.

Now that I have your attention, thank you for stopping by and honoring me with a glance of my somewhat lackluster work.
Just to say quickly, I dream of a career working as a 2D concept/illustration artist with some 3D work on the side for a dedicated, hardworking game development studio.
Right now, I'm trying to learn art as much as I can, but finding solid art classes at decent prices with my parent's support is extremely tough for me right now, and I feel like i have no mentors or direction (but it seems there isn't one at all really.), especially as I go into the University of Southern California. It feels like I spent 6 years of my high school life learning and super-studying math, science, critical reading, and etc all for almost ineffective goal instead of doing what, it seems, regular art students do, taking classes for at least years during their secondary education years. I just pray to God, if he deems so, that he'll push me in the right directions.
If you guys can help me learn how to take more steps forward, I would greatly appreciate. Or meet in person is even better. I feel like I learn better, in general, when there's a teacher physically around instead of just looking through online tutorials.
